About a mile across the fields from Venn MIll is the village of Garford.  The Manor House and farm were owned by Gramma Long’s Uncle and Aunt who presented several annual events which included evening soirées in the great room.  Below is a programme from one of these evenings and below is a photograph taken during the West cousin’s visit to Garford Farm in 2015, showing the fireplace in the great room with Connie and the current owner Neil Walker.
