After London, we spent our last England week at Blandford Forum, an hour north of the beautiful Dorset coast. Our rented (Linnie) cottage was a pastoral oasis where we spent many hours walking and visiting old friends and some of Bruce’s cousins, many for the first time. On October 27, we flew to Washington DC, rented a car and drove to Albany New York to spend 10 days with Connie’s mom in her new apartment at Coburg Village in Rexford, N.Y. On the way we took a little trip down memory lane, visiting Vassar College, where I had taught in 1968/69.
