For a year, we’d been planning a trip to Hawaii for the 6 of us: Connie, Bruce, Alexis, Eric, Anna and Abigail. Last Fall, Alexis remembered that her partner in her string quartet Cafamore has a place in Maui and agreed to approach her about renting it. Happily this came to pass, and we arrived to a wonderful 3 bedroom house on 2 acres of tropically landscaped splendour. Connie, Alexis and I had been to Oahu on several occasions, related to concert tours, but I, for one, was not prepared for the beauty and diversity of Maui. Here are some memories of our trip:
